One major benefit to Club members is that the club produces low cost lumber for sale to its members. The lumber is priced at a fraction of the price charged by lumber yards. This is a result of using trees donated to the club and hiring a sawyer to cut the logs into boards. The resulting lumber is loaded into the club’s kiln, operated by club members.
Historically the club has offered its members many different lumber species including: Red and white oak (plane and qtr. sawn), walnut, maple, hickory, pecan, sassafras, poplar, ash, cherry, etc.
The address of the kiln is 9824 Davis Ferry Rd. Clicking the address will bring up MapQuest for the address.
